DARWIN WEBB

PRESIDENT

Dar graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University in 1986. While gaining a broad range of project experience at two of the Seattle area's prominent landscape firms, Dar's passion for designing gardens led to his founding of Darwin Webb Landscape Architects in 1999.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dar's earliest memories are of growing up in a log beach house where his playground was miles of beaches on the acres of forested Vashon Island. Early on his passion for outdoor pursuits including skiing, sailing, backpacking and climbing gave him an intense appreciation of the natural environment. Dar's creative but pragmatic approach to design results in distinctive gardens that reflect the goals and personality of their owners, fuse landscape and architecture, and respond to the inherent qualities of their project site. When not designing gardens, you will most likely find Dar on the golf course of fly fishing on one of his his favorite holes.
